There is nothing better than being surrounded by your closest gal friends for a weekend. After 15+ years of friendship, we are still making the effort to come together, no matter where we each are in the world. There is always at least one person living in another country, and rarely are two people in the same location. Sadly, one of our girls couldn't make it to this get together, but thankfully we have a tradition of a yearly rendezvous. These friendships are not anything ordinary - they are my soul sisters who show up as friends and are always there through thick and thin.
We rented a small house at the foot of Thunder Mountain that was the perfect space for the four of us. It ended up being one of those magical January days in Sedona with snow that made the red rocks pop. January is also low season so it felt like we had the wonderland to ourselves. We spent the weekend wandering around town, hiking a few trails, and chit chatting til dawn in our cozy living room.
I hate the thought of waiting another year to see my best girls, but I always know that I have a soul-filling trip to look forward to!
